Route preview

Quote every route.
Send nothing.

A swap is only as good as the route it takes. Route preview asks the quoter contracts on Robinhood Chain what an exact amount would return through each route that exists for the pair, at one block, and ranks the answers.

Routes tried

The direct Uniswap v2 pair, each Uniswap v3 fee tier with a pool (0.01%, 0.05%, 0.3%, 1%), two-hop v3 paths through WETH or USDG, and Uniswap v4 pools of the pair that the market lists know.

How a quote is made

The v3 QuoterV2, the v4 Quoter and the v2 router simulate the swap with eth_call against current state. The simulation runs the same code a real swap would, so fees, ticks crossed and hooks are included.

Cost beyond price

Each route also prices your amount at the pools' current prices with no fee. The gap between that and the quote is the price impact plus the pool fees, shown as a percent. Smaller is better.

The depth curve

For the best single-pool route, the preview also quotes a tenth, a quarter, half, double, four and eight times your amount. The curve shows how fast the cost grows with size, which is the most direct picture of a pool's depth around the current price.

What it is not

Quotes are a reading of one block. The next block can differ, and a real swap can land after other trades. Route preview never signs, never sends and never holds anything; it has no swap button. To trade, use the DEX, set your own slippage limit and check the numbers there. Routes through venues other than Uniswap are listed in the explorer but are not quoted yet.
